Texas Hold'em Tournament
Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010
Location:El Jardin, 6460 E 73rd Ave, Commerce City
Registration: Begins at 11am
Start Time: 1pm
Prizes have been announced
- THE CERTIFICATES THAT YOU BRING IN WHEN YOU REGISTER MUST HAVE YOUR NAME ONLY ON THEM. PLEASE BRING YOUR ID WITH YOU TO REGISTER.
- You can bring in any number of certificates with your name on them. The maximum in chips that you can earn is $10,000. You cannot carry over certificates to the next tournament.
- YOU MUST BRING YOUR CERTIFICATES in on tournament day. PSD is not tracking your certificates and you will only receive chips based on how many certs you bring in. DO NOT LOSE THEM.
- You will still be allowed to pre-register before tournament for an additional $500 in chips but it will be your responsibility to know if you have qualified.
- Please get on our email if you are not already so that you will receive tournament information and instructions on how to pre-register.
Tournament Rules for 2010
Below is the standard for how 2010 Tournaments will be handled.
$2,000 is the minimum start chip value. The maximum chip value is $10,00.
You will need only ONE of the following scenarios in order to qualify with $2000 in chips.
- 1cert – 1st place certificate
- 2certs – Any combination of 2nd/3rd or Special certificates
Once you have qualified, each additional certificate will allow you $500 more in chips until you reach a maximum of $10,000.
The blind structure will be as follows: (will be adjusted as needed)
50/100 - 40 minutes
100/200 - 40 minutes
200/400 - 30 minutes
300/600 - 30 minutes
500/1000 - 20 minutes, Ante added in necessary
600/1200 - 20 minutes, Ante increases if necessary
800/1600 - 20 minutes, Ante increases if necessary
1000/2000 - 20 minutes, Ante increases if necessary
Blinds continue to increase until we have a winner
Should there be any questions or disagreements regarding rules or method of play, Poker Stars of Denver will have the final say. Decisions of Poker Stars of Denver shall be final. Poker Stars of Denver may at any time make changes without advance notice.
